Since it’s the year of multiple cameras in a smartphone, Xiaomi is stepping up the game by launching a phone with not just one, but five rear camera sensors. And that’s not even the wow part, one of these sensors has a resolution of 108-megapixels.
The company has finally released Mi CC9 Pro, which it has been teasing for months. It’s the first phone that Xiaomi released with this camera sensor, although Mi MIX Alpha concept phone is another upcoming Xiaomi phone with a 108-megapixel camera sensor that will be a limited edition phone.
Here’s the set of camera sensors that the Mi CC9 Pro comes with:
- 5-megapixel telephoto lens
- 12-megapixel telephoto camera
- 20-megapixel ultra-wide
- 2-megapixel macro lens
- 108-megapixel sensor
Not just this, the phone comes with a selfie camera of 32-megapixel that’s located in the teardrop notch. With all these camera sensors on the back, we can assume that the phone is capable of taking great ultra-wide, close-up, and macro shots.

The 5-megapixel telephoto lens comes with 5x optical zoom and 10x hybrid zoom while the 12-megapixel sensor is a telephoto lens for portrait mode. The ultra-wide lens (20-megapixel) has a 117-degree field of view, and the 2-megapixel macro lens is there for close-ups.
Earlier this year, Xiaomi teased a phone with a 108-megapixel camera sensor. Xiaomi and Samsung have worked together on this 108-megapixel sensor known as the “Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX” sensor.
The phone has a lot to offer other than these camera specs. Mi CC9 Pro has an AMOLED display of 6.47-inch and offers 5260 mAh battery capacity. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor while keeping a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G on board, running Xiaomi’s customized Android Pie 9.0, aka MIUI 11.
