Samsung has made the Galaxy Book2 official. The predecessor of the Galaxy Book 2 was introduced back in February 2017. The device is going to give Microsoft’s Surface Pro a cutthroat competition. Samsung used Qualcomm SoC instead of intel this time.
Samsung says that the Galaxy Book2 is a PC that gives you the power to stay ahead and it never slows down. It is a combination of smartphone and PC. Other features include a powerful battery, LTE connectivity, keyboard, and S Pen.
Samsung made the best hardware one could imagine by adding Samsung mobile computing technology with Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 mobile computing platform.
Alanna Cotton, Senior Vice President and General Manager at Samsung Electronics America said that:
“The way the world works is undergoing an incredible transformation, and users need technology that keeps them connected and ready for anything when they’re out in the world getting things done,”
He also said:
“The Galaxy Book2 brings together Samsung’s hardware and connectivity leadership with innovations from Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. and Microsoft for a two-in-one that uniquely delivers PC productivity and superior mobility.”
The battery in Samsung Galaxy Book 2:
The most important factor in mobile computing is its battery timing. Either you’re working from an office, on-site, in a meeting or on your way, you need a strong battery that can keep up all day long. You should have an ease of mind. You need to do your stuff without worrying or looking after to see how much battery is left. Samsung claims that Galaxy Book2 can give you up to 20 hours of consecutive use on full charge. That’s more than two full work days.
Having Qualcomm’s QuickCharge and Adaptive Fast charging support, you can recharge quickly whenever you find time to.
LTE in Samsung Galaxy Book 2:
Connectivity is very essential and is something everyone needs. With Gigabit LTE connectivity, you’ll never have to worry if you’re not near your WiFi connection. Samsung has brought its legacy of innovation from the mobile arena to PCs for LTE connectivity.
Keyboard and S-Pen in Galaxy Book 2:
Keyboard and S Pen comes with the Galaxy Book 2. These two accessories take your work to the next level of convenience. The keyboard also works as a screen cover which keeps your Galaxy Book2 protected on the go. With the addition of S Pen, you can translate phrases, take notes, mark up documents. You could do everything with the S Pen.
Galaxy Eco-System in Galaxy Book2:
Galaxy Book2 features a 12-inch Super AMOLED display, along with two powerful speakers with built-in Dolby Atmos. This makes your presentation and video conferences stunning. That’s not all, you get Samsung Flow to transfer your files from your Galaxy devices to Galaxy Book2 flawlessly. When connected with each other you could view the notifications of your phone right from your Galaxy Book2 screen.
